These Terms govern your use of Wayfinder’s websites, mobile apps and related services. By creating an account or using Wayfinder, you agree to these Terms. If you use Wayfinder for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept them for that organisation.
1. Who may use Wayfinder
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you may use Wayfinder only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. Wayfinder is not directed to children under 13, and a higher minimum age applies where local law requires it.
2. Your account and security
You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in methods secure. Wayfinder supports passkeys and password sign-in protected by two-factor authentication. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and should promptly revoke unfamiliar sessions or tell us if you believe your account is compromised.
3. What the service provides
Wayfinder helps you research and plan journeys, organise saved places, maintain travel preferences, review visits and travel events, and use supported maps, routing, notifications and planning tools. Some results are generated or assisted by automated systems and third-party data providers.
Features described as preview, beta, planned or “coming” are not guaranteed to launch on a particular date and may change before release. Planned Share My Trip features may include journey capture, curated share editions, selected-recipient updates, public or unlisted journey pages, external-media links and replay outputs.
4. Travel information is not a guarantee
Plans, routes, opening hours, prices, entry requirements, availability, safety information and provider content can change. You must verify important information with the relevant venue, carrier, government or provider before relying on it. Wayfinder does not provide emergency, immigration, legal, medical or financial advice.
5. Your content and travel data
You retain ownership of content you provide. You give Wayfinder a limited licence to host, process, transform and display that content only as needed to operate features you request, such as planning, syncing, creating a share edition or rendering a replay. This licence ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup, security and legal-retention periods.
You must have the right to upload or share content and must respect privacy, copyright and other rights of people appearing in it. Do not publish precise locations, accommodation details or other sensitive information about another person without permission.
6. Sharing and audiences
You control whether a journey remains private or is shared with selected people, through an unlisted link or publicly when those options are available. Recipients may copy or redistribute information they can see. Revoking access prevents future authorised access but cannot retrieve copies already made by recipients.
Wayfinder may apply protective defaults, including obscuring or excluding accommodation and other sensitive places. You remain responsible for reviewing each share edition and its audience before publication.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Wayfinder to break the law; harm, stalk or track a person without consent; expose private locations; impersonate others; distribute malware; scrape the service; bypass access controls; interfere with service operation; or upload content that infringes another person’s rights. Automated access is permitted only through interfaces we expressly provide.
8. Third-party services
Wayfinder may connect to map, routing, travel, identity, artificial-intelligence, media and notification providers. Their content and services are governed by their own terms. Wayfinder is not responsible for third-party availability, accuracy or conduct, although we aim to present provider limitations clearly.
9. Paid features
If paid plans or per-trip products are offered, prices, included features, renewal terms, taxes and cancellation rights will be shown before purchase. Unless required by law, charges for a completed billing period or completed render are non-refundable. We will not charge you for a planned paid feature before you explicitly purchase it.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Wayfinder at any time and may request account deletion through the controls or support channel made available in the service. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate abuse or address a material breach of these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to appeal.
11. Service availability and liability
Wayfinder is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost travel opportunities, or decisions based on inaccurate third-party information. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service develops. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes through the service or the account email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. Questions or legal notices can be sent through the support contact made available in Wayfinder.
